阴阳连环板凳拳是将双刀、双钩和双戟的技法融于日常器物板凳中而形成的独具特色的传统武术。板凳的轮缘像刀锋,凳脚似戟的月牙刃,凳角如枪尖。文章运用文献资料法、专家访谈法以及逻辑分析法等方法对阴阳连环板凳拳的源流以及板凳拳与阴阳连环板凳拳之间的关系进行梳理、辨析得出:阴阳连环板凳拳源于少林金刚连环凳,因申遗而更名,再因文化融合成为布依子午板凳拳;板凳拳与阴阳连环板凳拳在器械数量与技术上存在极大差异,二者不可混淆。
