Multimedia teaching has the characteristics of knowledge,interest and times.It can stimulate students'interest in learning,mobilize students'enthusiasm and initiative,improve teaching efficiency and quality,and improve students'English core competence.This paper analyzes the current situation of English teaching in secondary vocational schools,and discusses the strategy and precautions of using multimedia teaching in English teaching in secondary vocational schools.
