Traditional immunosuppressants are differing from the recent targeted immunomodulatory drugs.They have a long history of application in the field of dermatology,which showed good therapeutic effect for many inflammatory immune skin diseases.In this review,the classification and characteristics of traditional immunosuppressants,as well as the clinical application and adverse reactions of several immunosuppressants commonly used in dermatology are overviewed.
