Three Topics of New Left-wing Literature

新世纪初的"新左翼文学"现象值得关注。"新左翼文学"与"底层文学"和"现实主义文学"具有内在关联性。其真实性、批判性,乃现实主义文学题中应有之义。以"见证与批判"为核心的"新左翼精神",其实是一种现实主义精神。因此,"新左翼文学",乃是一种现实主义文学。左翼文学不但具有鲜明而强烈的政治性、党派性,而且还具有宣扬阶级斗争、鼓吹暴力革命等特征。因此,试图以"新左翼文学"来"激活"20世纪中国左翼文艺传统,是有欠稳妥的。

A close attention should be paid to the"new left-wing literature"in the beginning of the new century.The"new left-wing literature has its internal relevance with the"Bottom Literature"and"realist literature".Authenticity and criticism are the major features of realistic literature.The new left-wing spirit,which takes"witness and criticism"as the core,is actually a realistic spirit.Therefore,the"new left-wing literature"is a kind of realist literature.The left-wing literature with a strong political awareness and partisanship advocates class struggle and violent revolution.Therefore,it is not a good way to attempt to use the new left-wing literature to"activate"the Chinese traditional left-wing literature and art in the 20th century.
