Under the background of the new curriculum reform,primary school English teaching is also facing many problems and challenges.The new curriculum standards put forward some new ideas for primary school English teaching.Teachers need to study the new curriculum standards seriously in the teaching process.In the process of teaching,we must adhere to the teaching philosophy of taking students as the main body,respect every student,and be able to adopt effective teaching strategies to stimulate students'interest in learning and improve students'initiative in English learning.At the same time,a reasonable teaching evaluation is needed for students'performance.Only in this way can the effect of primary school English teaching be effectively improved.This article discusses the thinking of primary school English teaching under the new curriculum standards.
