Based on the theory of Embodied Cognition, this study explains the profound influence of mirror neuron system and its embodied simulation mechanism on children’s reading, and provides theoretical basis for children’s reading promotion and library reading service strategy.Furtherly,it analyzes the cases of children’s embodied reading activities in Hyland Park Community Library(HPPL)in the United States, and provides example reference and fact support for optimizing the library’s children’s reading service strategy. The research shows that deepening children’s reading service needs the guidance of children’s cognitive development and emotional education theory, and also needs professional librarians to carry out service design and activity planning.Only according to children’s cognitive and emotional development law, scientific design of children’s reading plans and strategies, can it really improve children’s reading interest and ability, establish reading habits, and achieve children’s physical and mental development through book reading.
