Professor Guizhen Wu elected as new President of Asia-Pacific Biosafety Association on Sept 19, 2019

At the 14th Asia-Pacific Biosafety Association(A-PBA)Annual Biorisk Conference held in Sept.17–20,2019 in Dhaka,People's Republic of Bangladesh,Professor Guizhen Wu,Director of National Institute for Viral Disease Prevention and Control,China CDC,and the Editor-in-Chief of Biosafety and Health,was elected as the new President of A-PBA.She won the highest vote(over 91%)and will serve for a two-year term for A-PBA.This is the first time for a Chinese biosafety expert to be elected as the President of A-PBA.Congratulations to Professor Wu.
