Many scholars think that as the representative of chivalric literature in the Middle Ages,Sir Malory’s The Death of King Arthur expresses endless reminiscence and pity towards the decline of chivalry and peerage. This book is the last lament of chivalry in the Middle Ages.Nevertheless,if analyzed from Bakhtin’s dialogue theory,a new view or even a new text would be found. The Death of King Arthur is not only a book related to chivalry but also a book finished under the influence of Christian culture and witchcraft culture in the Middle Ages.
