ECRG4在结直肠癌中的表达及临床意义

Expression and clinical significance of ECRG4 in colorectal cancer

目的研究分析结直肠癌患者中食管癌相关基因4(ECRG4)表达的临床意义。方法应用免疫组织化学法检测98例结肠癌患者的结肠癌组织及癌旁组织的石蜡标本中ECRG4的表达状态并结合临床病例资料进行统计分析,用Kaplan-Meier生存分析法分析ECRG4表达与总体患者生存率之间的关系。用Cox生存回归法分析结肠癌患者总生存率的相关因素。结果结肠癌组织中ECRG4蛋白的表达与病理组织学分级有显著相关性(P<0.05),高ECRG4表达患者组的总体生存期显著高于ECRG4低表达患者组(P<0.05)。Cox单变量回归分析显示,高ECRG4表达是保护性因素(HR=0.262,95%CI 0.141~0.486;P<0.05),病理分级是影响总生存率的不利因素(HR=4.058,95%CI 2.381~0.486;P<0.05)。Cox多变量回归分析显示,高ECRG4表达是结肠癌预后的独立保护因素(HR=0.381,95%CI 0.202~0.72;P<0.05)。结论ECRG4表达与结肠癌的临床病理特征及患者预后密切相关,可能是参与结肠癌发展的重要分子事件。

Objective To study the clinical significance of Esophageal cancer related gene 4(ECRG4)expression in colorectal cancer.Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of ECRG4 in paraffin specimens of colonic tumor tissues and adjacent tissues of 98 patients with colon cancer.Combined with clinical case data,the relationship between ECRG4 expression and overall survival rate was analyzed by Kaplan Meier survival analysis.Cox regression analysis was used to analyze the related factors of overall survival rate in patients with colon cancer.Results There was a significant correlation between the expression of ECRG4 protein and the pathological grade(P<0.05).The overall survival time of patients with high ECRG4 expression was significantly higher than that of patients with low ECRG4 expression(P<0.05).Cox univariate regression analysis showed that high ECRG4 expression was a protective factor(HR=0.262;95%CI 0.141~0.486;P<0.05),and pathological grade was an adverse factor(HR=4.058;95%CI 2.381~0.486;P<0.05).Cox multivariate regression analysis showed that high ECRG4 expression was an independent protective factor for the prognosis of colon cancer(HR=0.381;95%CI 0.202~0.72;P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of ECRG4 may be closely related to the clinicopathological features and prognosis of colon cancer,and may be an important molecular involved in the development of colon cancer.
