Cultivation of a positive and enterprising,open and inclusive,rational and peaceful national mentality among college students is demanded by the times.It is the key to development and construction.From the perspective of patriotism,cultivation of college students national mentality in the new era can be divided into three dimensions:confident and mature value judgment and dialectical and rational value identity,which means they know the history of the country,are concerned with its development and cherish the Chinese Dream;moderate rational patriotic emotions and reasonable expression of patriotic sentiments;a firm will to forge ahead and an open and win-win peaceful mindset.
