目的论视角下的石油英语长句翻译研究

On the Translation of Long Sentences in Petroleum English from the Perspective of Skopos Theory

在经济全球化的今天,石油英语翻译不仅扮演着石油行业蓬勃发展的重要角色,也为石油行业跨国交流合作构建桥梁和纽带,逐渐成为翻译领域不可或缺的一部分。在功能目的论的指导下,即在目的原则、忠实原则和连贯原则下,作者根据石油类文本的句法特点,通过例证总结分析本次翻译实践中所遇到的长句翻译问题,以及如何解决问题的过程。

In today’s economic globalization, petroleum English translation not only plays an important role in the booming development of the petroleum industry, but also builds a bridge and link for the transnational exchange and cooperation of the petroleum industry, and gradually becomes an indispensable part of the translation field. Under the guidance of three principles of Skopos theory, the author summarize the difficulties encountered when translating sentences in translation process based on syntactic features and analyzes how to solve those translation difficulties by examplification.
