摘要
林语堂在小说《赖柏英》的创作中,主动汲取中国文化之"和",吸纳基督精神之"和",援引西方文化之"乐",构建"和乐"精神的三个维度。林语堂在人物性格的塑造、环境的描写、小说的叙事等方面,以"和乐"为价值评判的最高标准,形成自己独特的审美意识。"和乐"精神包含和睦、知足、简单,成为林语堂文学创作中常见的逻辑起点,也是林语堂人生哲学的现代表述。
In the creation of his novel Juniper Loa,Lin Yutang took the initiative to absorb the“harmony”of both Chinese cultureand Christian spirit,invoked the“happiness”of Western cultureand constructed the three dimensions of the“harmony and happiness spirit”.He treated the spirit as the highest standard of value judgment in shaping characters,describing environment and narrating,etc.and formed his own unique aesthetic consciousness.The spirit containing harmony,contentment,and simplicity,has become a common logical starting point in Lin’s literary creation,and a modern expression of his philosophy of life.
