The article introduces the dust explosion and general measures of explosion prevention,focusing on the principle of dust explosion venting and two commonly used calculation standards.It summarizes the basic input parameters and value ranges required for the calculation of dust explosion venting,and compares the difference between the two standards in the effective length to diameter ratio in common explosion venting cases and the influence on the calculation results of explosion venting.Finally,it summarizes the application characteristics of the two standards,and provides a reference for the reasonable calculation of the dust venting area in engineering design.
