欲知大道,必先为史。新中国史不仅是党员干部也是每个国人的必修课,应认真学习研读这段历史,在读史中深刻认识"四个选择"的历史必然性,在坚定历史自信中坚定"四个自信"。新中国史具有真实的客观性和鲜明的政治性,绝不容许篡改和亵渎。要真正读懂新中国史,必须坚持马克思主义唯物史观和科学方法论的指导,客观、全面、历史地进行学习和研究,牢牢把握新中国史的主题与主线、主流与本质,正确认识改革开放前后两个历史时期及其关系,客观评价重大事件和历史人物,注重总结宝贵经验教训,以鉴古知今、资政育人。

In order to know the correct way,people must first understand the history.The history of New China is not only a compulsory course for the party members and cadres but also for every fellow countryman.People should learn this history very carefully,and deeply understand the historical inevitability of the"Four Choices",and stay confident in the path,theory,system,and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the circumstance of strengthening historical self-confidence.The history of New China has true objectivity and distinctive political characteristics.It will never be allowed to tamper or blaspheme.In order to truly understand the history of New China,people must adhere to the guidance of Marxist historical materialism and scientific methodology,and conduct study and research objectively,comprehensively and historically,and firmly grasp the theme,the main line,the mainstream and the essence of the history of New China,and correctly understand the two periods before and after reform and opening-up and their relationship,and objectively evaluate the major events and historical figures,and focus on summing up the valuable experiences and lessons to learn from the past and know the present as well as providing the assistance toward good governance and educating people.
