Current Situation and System Construction of Geochronology Course:Taking Petroleum Geology Colleges and Universities as an Example

"地质年代学"课程是地质学专业教学的重要课程,其知识体系是培养创新性人才的必要组成部分。在阐述地质年代学技术在石油院校开设必要性的基础上,调研了国内外知名大学"地质年代学"课程开设情况,发现以沉积盆地和油气勘探研究作为对象的"地质年代学"课程知识体系还没有。考虑到石油院校专业特色和人才培养目标,建立了"地质年代学"课程知识体系,并探索性地提出了理论授课+实验教学+软件培训"三位一体"教学模式,将有力地推动学科发展、人才培养和教学质量。

The course of Geochronology is very important for the geology major, and its knowledge system is an essential part of cultivating innovative talents. On the basis of expounding the necessity of offering Geochronology course in petroleum colleges and universities, we investigated the situation of offering Geochronology courses at well-known universities at home and abroad and in the world, and found that there is no university that takes sedimentary basins and oil and gas exploration and research as a part of the knowledge system of the Geochronology course. According to the major feature and talent training objectives of petroleum colleges and universities, we have established the knowledge system of Geochronology course, and put forward the trinity teaching model of theory teaching, experiment teaching and software training, which can promote the development of the discipline, the talent training and the teaching quality.
