Majority of Afghans support negotiations between the Afghan government and the Taliban,hoping to achieve peace.But Afghans generally believe that the achievements of Afghanistan's development in the past 20 years must be preserved.Many polls show that the overwhelming majority of Afghans support the Afghan government and are more averse to the Taliban.As the peace talks enter the internal negotiations between the Afghan government and the Taliban,Afghans are worried that the harsh rule of the Taliban will reappear.Under the pressure of Afghans,the Afghan government and the Taliban have to maintain the peace talks.This pressure makes it difficult for the Afghan government and the Taliban to reach an substantive agreement that they will follow.
