Humble Opinion on Several Issues of Marxist Ethnology

马克思主义民族学有特定的学科定位、研究内容和鲜明特征。马克思主义民族学既是科学社会主义理论体系的重要内容,也是中国特色哲学社会科学的重要组成部分。主要研究一切社会发展阶段的民族共同体,民族自身形成和发展的规律及内外表现,民族在社会结构中的要素、形式和特征,民族问题理论及解决的纲领政策等。马克思主义民族学始终坚持存在的物质性、变化的客观性、关系的整体性、作用的双重性、目标的融合性等立场原则,具有鲜明的科学性、人民性、实践性、发展性等特点。

Persevering in and developing Marxist ethnology and intensifying efforts to build a Chinese school of ethnology are the important tasks for forging the consciousness of the community of the Chinese nation.Marxist ethnology has specific subject orientation,research content and distinctive features.Marxist ethnology is not only an important part of the theoretical system of scientific socialism,but also an important part of philosophy and social science with Chinese characteristics.It mainly studies the national community at all stages of social development,the laws of the formation and development of the nation itself and its internal and external manifestations,the elements,forms and characteristics of the nation in the social structure,the theory of national problems and the program and policies for solving them.Marxist ethnology has always adhered to the materiality of existence,the objectivity of change,the integrity of relations,the duality of functions,and the integration of goals,and has its distinctive characteristics of scientific nature,popular nature,practicality,and development.
