摘要
通过将聚苯醚(PPE)与阻燃聚氯乙烯(PVC)混融,得到聚苯醚/聚氯乙烯(PPE/PVC)复合材料,并对其形貌、热稳定性、力学性能、阻燃性能以及耐化学品腐蚀性能进行研究。结果表明:PPE/PVC-3中PVC具有较好的分散性,与PPE相容最好,体现最佳的热稳定性。力学性能方面,PPE/PVC-3的拉伸强度、断裂伸长率以及冲击强度分别为68 MPa,51%和13.12 kJ/m^(2),满足某品牌汽车材料标准值。此外,PPE/PVC-3具有较好的阻燃性能,LOI值达到42.1%,最大热释放速率以及产烟量分别为321 kW/m^(2)和213 m^(2)/m^(2)。经过汽油的腐蚀后,PPE/PVC-3冲击强度和LOI下降率仅为18.9%和10.6%,说明其具有较好的耐化学品腐蚀性能。因此,PPE/PVC-3优异的性能使其可以有效的应用于汽车工程材料。
Polyphenylene ether/polyvinyl chloride(PPE/PVC)composites was obtained by mixing polyphenylene ether(PPE)plastic and flame retardant polyvinyl chloride(PVC)plastic.The morphology,thermal stability,mechanical properties,flame retardancy and chemical corrosion resistance of PPE/PVC composites were studied.The results show that PVC in PPE/PVC-3 has better dispersibility,the best compatibility with PPE,and show the best thermal stability.In terms of mechanical properties,the tensile strength,elongation at break and impact strength of PPE/PVC-3 are 68 MPa,51%and 13.12 kJ/m^(2),respectively,which meet the standard value of a brand of automotive materials.In addition,PPE/PVC-3 has good flame retardant properties,with LOI value of 42.1%,maximum heat release rate and smoke production of 321 kW/m^(2) and 213 m^(2)/m^(2),respectively.After being corroded by gasoline,its impact strength and LOI decrease by only 18.9%and 10.6%,indicating that it has good chemical corrosion resistance.Therefore,the excellent performance of PPE/PVC-3 makes it can be effectively used in automotive engineering materials.
