裴秀“制图六体”理论的历史考察

Historical Investigation of Pei Xiu’s Theory of“Six Methodologies in Cartography”

裴秀作为“中国地图学之父”,在中国乃至世界地图学理论和实践发展史上都占有重要地位,“制图六体”理论是他关于地图学最重要的成果之一,成为历代地图制作中遵循的基本方法。公元3世纪“制图六体”理论的提出与裴秀仕宦经历和山西区域文化传统有着密切的关系。隋唐以来不仅是国家上层的知识分子,而且山西地方社会的民众们均对裴秀地图学理论与实践进行了传承与发展,极大地扩大了“制图六体”理论的影响力,促进了中国传统地图学的发展。

As the“father of Cartography in China”,Pei Xiu occupies an important position in the development history of cartography theory and practice in China and even in the world.His theory of“six methodologies cartography”is one of the most important achievements in cartography,and has become the basic method followed in the cartography of past dynasties.The theory of“six methodologies cartography”is closely related to Pei Xiu’s official experience and Shanxi’s regional cultural tradition,Since Sui Dynasties and Tang Dynasties,not only the intellectuals at the top of the country,but also the people of Shanxi Province have inherited and developed Pei Xiu’s cartography theory and practice,greatly expanding the influence of the“six methodologies cartography”theory and promoting the development of traditional Chinese cartography.
