Archiater WEI Qinglin holds that the occurrence of cough during pregnancy is mostly based on the spleen deficiency of the pregnant woman’s constitution,and exogenous wind-cold directly induces failure of lung to disperse and descend. In addition,improper diet and emotional disappointment after suffering from the disease lead to the protracted course of disease and even affect fetal development. In clinical practice,archiater WEI Qinglin collects targeted data of syndrome differentiation of five zang-organs,following the principle of "relieving manifestations in acute cases,while treating root cause in chronic ones",and flexibly applies acupuncture combing therapy to expel pathogenic factors and stop cough,and consolidate vital base by earth-invigorating. Meanwhile,attention is paid to diet and emotional balancing in the process of treatment. One typical case is attached for verification and reference.
