A Brief Discussion On Wang Yanhong’s Poems on Female Buddhist Life in the Late Ming Dynasty

王彦泓在晚明诗坛是另类的存在,以写艳情诗和悼亡诗出名,并且,这两类作品都和女性的佛教家庭生活高度融合。究其成因,一方面,和他崇尚艳体、艳词的文学理论及以维摩禅的生活诗性化为指导思想息息相关;另一方面,也是受时代风尚和家族佛教信仰共同熏染所致。

Wang Yanhong was idiosyncratic in the poetry world of the late Ming Dynasty.He was famous for writing erotic poems and mourning poems,which were related to women’s Buddhist family life.On one hand,it can be ascribed to his literary theory of advocating erotic style and erotic words and guiding ideology of the poetic life of Vimalakirti.On the other hand,it is also caused by the common influence of the times and the family Buddhist belief.
