美国公共图书馆大众创业服务支持研究及启示——以布鲁克林公共图书馆“BKLYN时装学院”项目为例

Research and Enlightenment on the Support of Mass Entrepreneurship Service in American Public Library—Taking the“BKLYN Institute of Fashion”Project in Brooklyn Public Library as an Example

采取网络调研法与案例分析法,以布鲁克林公共图书馆为调研对象,发现其创建的“时装学院”创业支持服务项目主要依托图书出版支持、资源利用、空间提供、知识产权保护、竞争情报分析、对外宣传联络等方式开展。在深入分析其各项服务方式的基础上提出对我国公共图书馆创业支持服务的启示,国内图书馆可以从“时装学院”项目中吸收成功经验,未来在开展同类服务时应当主动了解服务对象的创业信息需求,拓展服务合作方式,打造自己的创业支持服务品牌并在商业信息资源的开发工作上加大投入。

Taking Brooklyn Public Library as the research object,this paper adopts the methods of network research and case analysis,and finds that the entrepreneurial support service project of Fashion Institute established by Brooklyn Public Library mainly relies on book publishing support,resource utilization,space provision,intellectual property protection,competitive intelligence analysis,and external publicity and liaison.Therefore,on the basis of in-depth analysis of its various service modes,this paper puts forward some enlightenment and thoughts on the entrepreneurial support service of public libraries in China.Domestic libraries can absorb advanced experience from the“Fashion Institute”project.In the future,while developing similar services,the entrepreneurial information needs of clients should be actively acquired.Expansion of service partners,building entrepreneurial support service brands and increased investment in the development of business information resources are also suggested.
