地震知识科学普及是中国防震减灾工作的重要任务之一,是防震减灾工作的重要组成部分。地震科普可以在一定程度上解决公民灾害意识不足、防灾素养比较薄弱等方面存在的一系列问题,其目的是使受教育者掌握一定的关于灾害本身及防灾、减灾、救灾方面的知识,树立正确的灾害观,正确地进行相应的防灾救灾活动。由此,地震科普应当适应不同时代的特点,与时俱进地调整科普内容,使得公众能够具备正确识别地震风险的能力,从而最大限度地保障自己的生命和财产安全。

The scientific popularization of earthquake knowledge is one of the important tasks of our national defense and earthquake disaster reduction work,and it is an important part of the earthquake prevention and disaster reduction work.Earthquake science popularization can solve a series of problems in citizens’lack of disaster awareness and weak disaster prevention literacy to a certain extent.Its purpose is to enable the educated to master certain knowledge about disasters themselves and disaster prevention,mitigation,and disaster relief.Establish a correct view of disasters and carry out corresponding disaster prevention and relief activities correctly.Therefore,the popularization of earthquake science should adapt to the characteristics of different times,and adjust the content of popularization with the times,so that the public can have the ability to correctly identify earthquake risks,so as to maximize the protection of their lives and property.
