Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of combined detection of fasting blood glucose and glycosylated serum protein for diabetes. Methods Fifty patients with diabetes who were admitted from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the study group;choose 50 healthy people who hare undergone physical examination during the same period and set them as the control group. Both groups of patients were taken fasting blood glucose+glycosylated serum protein combined detection and the results were compared between the groups. The patients in the study group were treated with hypoglycemic therapy, and the fasting blood glucose and glycosylated serum protein levels of the patients before and after the treatment were compared to measure the treatment effect. Results The results of glycated serum protein and fasting blood glucose of the study group were higher than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of glycated serum protein and fasting blood glucose before treatment in the study group were higher than those after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined detection of fasting blood glucose and glycosylated serum protein can be used not only to diagnose whether a patient has diabetes, but also to assess the effect of hypoglycemic treatment in patients, and its clinical application value is very significant.
