摘要
《大乘义章·八识义》中有两类基本心识模式:别相识和共相识。前者从真妄离分角度讲,后者从真妄和合角度讲。此二类心识的核心是“真妄”。慧远根据“同体义分”的原则,论证“真妄”的圆融无碍、相摄相入。既然心体是真妄圆融的,那么,将心体区分为不同种类的识,并赋予这些识或真或妄的属性,都是允许的;各派关于八识、九识及真妄之争,也就没有必要了。由此,慧远借鉴《周易》阴阳二爻叠加演进的模式,通过真妄的离分与和合,推演出多种心识观,以此融摄当时各宗心识思想,消弭各派纷争。慧远此种心识观,具有典范意义。
There are two kinds of basic consciousness in Huiyuan's Dashengyizhang:Biexiangshi and Gongxiangshi.The former separates truth from falsity,and the latter is the fusion of the truth and falsity.The core of Huiyuan's concept is the truth and falsity.Based on the principle "Tongtiyifen",Huiyuan argued that the truth and falsity were harmonious.So we can divide the mind into different types of consciousness,and the debates among Buddhism sects were not necessary.Thus,on the basis of the separation and harmony of truth and falsity,Huiyuan created many concepts about consciousness.Through these concepts,Huiyuan absorbed the ideas of various sects,and eliminated factions5 dispute.So Huiyuan's concept about consciousness had typical meaning.
