Textual Research and Deduction on A Brief History of Shanghai Newspapers

本文通过查证姚公鹤《上海报纸小史》发表出版的原始文献史料,考证了《上海报纸小史》的问世途径、问世时间和问世过程;考证了现有文献中对《上海报纸小史》一书流传情况记载的正误,对《上海报纸小史》在中国新闻史以及地方新闻史学术研究领域的学术地位提出了本文的观点。

By examining the original literature of A Brief History of Shanghai Newspapers published by Yao Gonghe,this paper studies the way,time and process of its publication.This paper also investigates records of its circulation through extant literature,and puts forward views on its academic status in the field of regional and Chinese journalism history.
