来华军事留学生跨文化适应障碍及影响因素

Cross-cultural adaptation barriers and influencing factors for military international students

军事留学生是来华留学生中一个特别的群体,他们在使命、身份、人生经历等方面,以及来华后与社会接触的方式、对当地民情的了解程度、接受中国文化的情况与其他留学生都有所不同,对其开展跨文化适应研究具有启发意义。军事留学生在学业、语言、军事以及文化观念等方面都存在较大的跨文化适应障碍,其原因涉及学员个体的定势思维、文化习得负迁移、工具性成就动机以及社会支持的缺失、多文化共存五个方面,因此需要加强目标群体研究,利用其对军人身份的认同,讲好中国故事,并进行管理机制的创新。

While staying in China,military international students are special in terms of their mission,identities,personal experience.There used to be less attention on their experience of contacting with Chinese society which will enlighten corresponding cross-cultural studies.These students encounter barriers in Chinese language and culture,in study modes,as well as in military life and folklore.Reasons can be traced to their personal stereotype thinking,negative transfer of culture acquisition,pragmatic achievement motivation,social support and multi-culture co-existence.The school administration should deepen the research and take advantages of their military identification to make a good communication of Chinese stories,provide more opportunities of social practice and create innovated mechanism for them.
