一种MMC子模块电容ESR在线监测方法 被引量:2

摘要 模块化多电平变换器(MMC)子模块电容需要承受巨大的桥臂电流冲击,是系统中失效率最高的元件。等效串联电阻(ESR)是表征电容健康状态典型参数之一。通过对电容ESR进行监测,可对电容损耗、温升以及寿命进行估计,从而实现电容的预测性维护和替换,这对提升MMC系统电容的可靠性能有重要价值。在此基于MMC子模块电容电压的正负跳变特征,提出了电容ESR在线监测方法:通过检测子模块电容由于ESR存在导致的正负电压双跳变沿和流入子模块的桥臂电流计算出电容ESR;通过实验分析验证了所提方案的有效性。 Withstanding the large arm current pulses,submodule capacitor has become one of the most vulnerable components in modular multilevel converter(MMC)system.Equivalent series resistance(ESR)is one of the typical parameters characterizing the health status of capacitor.By monitoring the ESR value,the power loss,temperature and life of capacitor can be estimated,and therefore predictive maintenance for capacitor can be realized,which greatly improves the reliability performance of sub module capacitors.Based on the positive and negative voltage jump edge on sub modulecapacitor,an online ESR monitoring method is proposed.Finally,simulation and experimental results validate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method.
