摘要
本科学位等级是对本科生学士学位水平的再划分,是激发学生学术潜力、提高高等教育质量的重要举措。现阶段,我国部分高校对本科学位等级进行了试点。明代科举制度在发展中形成了五级考试制度及科名等级制度。现代英国、美国、澳大利亚等西方国家为培养高素质人才均设立了具有等级性的荣誉学位。在对古今中外相关学位制度考察的基础上,应当对我国当前的本科学位进行再划分,具体分为普通学位和甲等学位。其中,甲等学位又分为一级、二级、三级三个层次。在此基础上,对其授予比例、课程设置及选拔标准、修业年限及授予条件、甲等学位的学生权益等方面提出系列构想。
The undergraduate degree level is the subdivision of the bachelors degrees,as an important measure to stimulate students’academic potential and improve the quality of higher education.Today,some colleges and universities in China have conducted trials on the level of undergraduate degrees.This article reviewed the development of the five-level imperial examination system and the classification system of subjects in the Ming Dynasty,and the hierarchical“honorary degrees”for training high-quality talents in Britain,the United States,Australia and other Western countries.The investigation of the relevant degree systems both at home and abroad in ancient and modern times suggested that the current undergraduate degrees in China need to be subdivided into general degree and first-class degree,of which the first-class is further divided into three levels:the first,the second,and the third level.It also explored areas covering degree ratio,curriculum setting and selection criteria,school year,granting conditions,and students’rights and interests for the first-class degrees.
