张廷玉是历事康雍乾三朝的清代名臣,其治政思想内涵丰富,主要体现为勤修官德、公正自守,教化安民、理政宽平,革除弊政、整肃吏风,建章立制、以法治吏等。张廷玉的治政思想及主张对于澄清吏治、巩固封建皇权统治起到了一定的积极作用,也给当今的行政治理提供了诸多启迪。要以贤选官,坚持以干为本与以德为先并重;要以德导官,坚持崇德修身与教育引导并举;要以制保官,坚持纪法约束与监督纠举并行。

ZHANG Tingyu is a famous minister of Qing Dynasty having served in the history of Kang,Yong and Qian.His governance thoughts are rich in connotation,mainly reflected in the diligent cultivation of official morality,justice and self-restraint,education and appeasing the people,management and peace,abolishing misgovernment,punishment of bad official style,establishment of rules and regulations and Governance bureaucratic by law.ZHANG Tingyu's governance thoughts and propositions have played a positive role in rectifying the administration of officials and consolidating the centralized feudal rule of the Qing Dynasty.They have also provided election-officials by morality,insisting on both working and moral;education-officials by morality,insisting on both morality-cultivation and education-guidance;keeping officials by law and regulation,insisting on both discipline and legal restraint and report-supervision.
