凌惕安《笋香室日记》述略

A brief Account of Ling Ti'an's Diary of Sun Xiang Shi(《笋香室日记》)

凌惕安是贵州近现代著名的历史学家、文献收藏家,著有《咸同贵州军事史》《清代贵州名贤像传》《郑子尹先生年谱》《黎莼斋先生年谱》。凌氏勤于写日记,然存世的只有辛酉至甲子四年,计二十四册。记录了民国十年至十三年间贵州军政、教育、商业、金融和社会生活诸方面的史事,是研究民国贵州尤其是省会贵阳的重要资料。

Ling Ti'an is a famous historian and literature collector in Modern Guizhou.He has written the military history of Xiantong Guizhou(《咸同贵州军事史》),the biography of famous Guizhou sages in the Qing Dynasty(《清代贵州名贤像传》),the chronology of Mr.Zheng Ziyin(《郑子尹先生年谱》)and the chronology of Mr.Li Chunzhai(《黎莼斋先生年谱》).Ling is diligent in keeping the diaries,but only Xin you and Jia Zi have been survived for four years,totaling of 24 volumes.It records the historical events of military and political affairs,education,commerce,finance and social life in Guizhou from the tenth to the thirteenth year of the Republic of China.It is an important material for the study of Guizhou,especially Guiyang,the provincial capital of the Republic of China.
