摘要
自古以来,人类在造型艺术中就没有停止对光的表现,以圆环形、放射形、火焰形来表现光,是人类艺术发展中共同形成的经验。在隋朝的敦煌壁画中,画家对佛光的效果进行了多方面的探索,以大面积的火焰纹表现佛背光及龛楣,形成宏大的气势,以色彩的细腻变化表现奇妙的光感,充分体现了隋朝画家旺盛的创造力。
From time immemorial,the art created by humans the world round has represented light in the plastic arts through depictions of rings,beams and flames.In the murals at Dunhuang from the Sui dynasty,the painters explored the effects of the light radiating from the body of Buddha with great energy and from various perspectives.Subtle changes of color were used to create wonderful senses of light in Sui dynasty art,the effects of which are made particularly vivid by the large flame patterns that were used in various niches to highlight the force and awe exuded by the aura radiated by the Buddha.These techniques exemplify the strong creativity of the painters of the Sui dynasty.
