传抄古文札记一则

One Item of Textual Research and Explanation on the Gu Wen

传抄古文“解”“懈”写法怪异,旧不得善解。根据出土文献中“毄”字的写法及其用字习惯,我们认为传抄古文“解”“懈”即为“毄”,二者属于音近通假的关系,并借此解释了一处金文辞例。

The two characters jie 解 and xie 懈 are written in a strange way in Chuanchao guwen 传抄古文 and there are no reasonable explanation in the past.Based on the research on the character 毄,this essay argues that character jie 解 and xie 懈 are the same character as the character 毄.It is because of the way of writing the character 毄 and the habit the writer uses this character in Chuanchao guwen.This essay figures out that the two characters jie 解 and xie 懈 are the borrowed words because of the similar pronunciation of the character 毄,based on this conclusion,the meaning of one sentence in Jinwen has been explained.
