Evaluations on construction and management of drip irrigation projects in Xinjiang

新疆干旱缺水的自然特征促使当地大力发展滴灌节水灌溉工程,经过多年努力,已成为节水灌溉农业较发达地区。从工程建设期管理、运行期管理、配套工程建设、节水宣传等方面分析新疆滴灌工程现状、建设特点和存在的问题,并提出对策与建议,为当地今后滴灌工程建设与管理提供参考。

Xinjiang is featured as vulnerable to drought and water shortage,which has resulted in the fast development of the water-saving drip irrigation systems.After years of effort,it has turned to be a well-developed area of water-saving irrigation agriculture.With analysis of the current situation,project features and problems,measures are proposed for drip irrigation system development in Xinjiang,from the aspects of management in the project construction period,management in operation period,counterpart system construction and publicity of water conservation.It may provide a reference for local drip irrigation system construction and management in the future.
