Defending Dignity with Publicity--Exploring the Development Path of Musicology based on the Crisis of Liberal Arts

20世纪以来,文科学术危机在全球蔓延。对于国内音乐学术来说,其也走过鼎盛时期,社会影响力趋弱。音乐学术危机首先表现为音乐形态研究和人文研究的割裂,然而,最重要的危机却是音乐学术和社会价值的割裂。在新的时代条件和社会背景下,音乐学术第一需要充分认清自身的使命,增强造福社会的意识;第二需要培养和扩大自身的顾客群,增高服务社会的能力;第三需要彰显自身的公共性,以公共服务为根本,增加学术形态。总之,音乐学界需要促成学术转型,走出学术危机,进而将音乐学术提升到新的境界。

Since the 20th century,the academic crisis of liberal arts has spread all over the world.For the domestic music academia,it has also gone through the heyday,and its social influence is weakening.The academic crisis of music first manifests itself in the separation of music morphology research and humanistic research.However,the most important crisis is the separation of music academia and social value.In the new era and social background,the music academia first needs to fully understand its mission and enhance the awareness of benefiting the society;Second,we need to cultivate and expand our own customer base and enhance our ability to serve the society;Thirdly,we need to highlight our own pu blicity,take public service as the foundation,and increase the academic quality.In short,musicology needs to promote academic transformation,get out of the academic crisis,and then promote the music academic research to a new realm.
