宋代江西诗派研究透彻,江西文派却很少有人关注,江西文派的散文思想更少有学者论及。陈模的活动圈子、交游局限于江西,推崇江西本土文人,代表了原生态的江西派散文观。陈模的《怀古录》汇集了江西前贤的散文思想,其中的"高古说""萧散美""潜气内转说""文好与情好说"体现了江西文派的江西文法。江西文法的研究有利于我们更深刻地认识南宋散文的特点和图景。

The Jiangxi Poetry School of the Song Dynasty has been well researched, but little concern has been paid to the prose of the Jiangxi Prose School, particularly, to its prose concepts. The literary notes written by Chen Mo, Mediating on the Past, is one of the few works exploring the prose concepts of this school.In the notes, the author held the local men of letters in esteem as his social intercourse was mainly limited in Jiangxi. Containing the prose thoughts of the Jiangxi prose forerunners, the notes were representative of the prose concepts of the school. The study of these prose concepts is conducive to the recognition of the features and panorama of the prose in the Southern Song Dynasty.
