The distribution of stone warrior sculptures wearing tiger-head helmet discovered in tombs of Song Dynasty in Luzhou of Sichuan Province is special. The tiger-head helmet image should come from the figurines wearing tiger-head hat in tombs of the Tang Dynasty as well as those in grottoes in Sichuan and Chongqing. The emergence of tiger-head helmet may be closely related to the increasing secularization of society, the population migration of Southern Shanxi, the peculiar location of Luzhou, the tiger worship in Southwest China, and the Tiger Skin Institute, which is the product of the joint influence of these factors.
