人类命运共同体与中国形象的构建——基于刘慈欣《中国太阳》的英译研究

A Community with a Shared Future for Mankind and the Construction of Chinese Image--Based on the Translation of Liu Cixin’s Sun of China

《中国太阳》讲述中国人水娃将个人价值追求同全人类命运相联系,选择永远离开地球,在宇宙中航行的故事。从生态翻译学视角探讨《中国太阳》的英译本发现,译者把握语言维、文化维、交际维的整合适应选择度,灵活运用各种翻译策略和技巧,实现了译文在西方语言、文化、交际生态下和谐共生,向西方读者成功传递了中国声音,表明了中国态度。

Sun of China tells a story of Shui Wah who connects his pursuit of personal value with the destiny of all mankind and chooses to leave the earth forever and sail in the universe.Telling this excellent Chinese story to Westerners will help build the image of China.This paper discusses the translation of Sun of China from the perspective of eco-translatology.Findings are that by integrating the adaptive selections of three dimensions-language,culture and communication,the translator flexibly uses various translation strategies and skills to achieve the harmonious coexistence of the translation in the western language,culture and communication ecology,and successfully conveys the Chinese voice and demonstrates the Chinese attitude to the western readers.
