辞典类工具书再版修订的策略

Strategies for Revision of Dictionary Reference Books

《英汉医学词汇》作为辞典类工具书,其修订方法与普通的英汉大辞典不同,在修订时既要遵循工具书编辑规律,又要结合其学术性和专业性,制定特殊的修订方案,使其更符合临床工作者、教学和科研人员及医学院校学生的实际需求,适应医学科学迅速发展的客观需要,有效推动医学临床和科研信息传播、共享和使用。本文从组建编辑专家团队、制定修订流程与原则、修订方法的实施几个方面分享《英汉医学词汇》修订再版的策略,为同仁编纂同类辞典提供借鉴。

As a dictionary reference book,the revision method of English-Chinese Medical Dictionary is different from other common English-Chinese dictionaries.We should not only follow the editorial rules of reference books,but also combine their academic and professional natureto formulate special revision plans to make them more in line with the actual needs of clinicians,teaching and research personnel and students of medical schools,and to meet the objective needs of the rapid development of medical science,effectively promote the dissemination,sharing and use of medical clinical and scientific research information.This paper is to share the strategies of revising and republishing English-Chinese Medical Dictionary from the following aspects:Setting up a team of editorial experts,formulating the revising process and principles,and implementing the revising methods.It might be used for reference in compiling the same kind of dictionary.
