A Preliminary Study on the Confucianism in Zhao Zhiqian’s Artistic Practice

赵之谦的艺术创作中,始终伴随着儒家思想的影响。其中独具特色的博古图、新年伊始创作的岁朝清供图等题材,题款中倚装作的无奈与进取,都是他真情的流露,也是赵之谦在经历了诸多艰难困苦后,依然积极面对生活的蓬勃的生命气息与积极用世之志的体现。

Strong influence of Confucianism can be always found in Zhao Zhiqian’s artistic practice. Especially his series of paintings Bo Gu Tu and Sui Zhao Qing Gong Tu, terms of Yi Zhuang Zuo in the inscriptions as well, showed his real emotions. At the same time, it also reveals that he still can face life positively with strong vitality and belief after all those difficulties and disasters happened in his life.
