A Change of Writing Style--A Study on Short Stories by Lu Ling since Late 1940s

20世纪40年代中后期,路翎的创作发生了变化,短篇小说题材涉及更广泛,篇幅短小,笔致生动,情感蕴藉幽深,切入生活的角度也更灵活独特,呈现出与中长篇小说截然相反的别致、灵巧风格。讽刺是路翎短篇小说的另一特征,他擅于通过视角转换以及营造充满戏剧感的“画面”达到讽刺目的。这些作品的存在“平衡”了路翎中前期过于“拙”“实”的文学风格。

We can notice a significant change in the wring style of Lu Ling’s short stories since late 1940s.On one hand,the writer chose his subject matter from a broader range and presented life from more flexible and unique perspectives,showing a dramatic difference from his novels.On the other hand,irony became another characteristic in Lu Ling’s short story writing.He achieved the effects of irony through shift of narrative perspectives and building of dramatic scenario.
