The Spatial Layout of the"Central Axis"of Traditional Chinese Architecture Implies the Time Factor

中国传统建筑在注重空间的同时也极其注重建筑中蕴含的时间因素,将时间进程中的阴阳变化体现在建筑空间的设计上,从而显示时间在建筑空间中的流动之美。"中轴线"的空间布局形式将"居中者方为尊"的文化理念变"空间之中"为"时间之中"。笔者以豫东传统民居刘青霞故居为案例探讨中轴线空间布局中隐含的时间因素。

Traditional Chinese architecture attaches great importance to the time factor in architecture while paying attention to space,and embodies the Yin and Yang changes in the process of time in the design of architectural space,so as to show the beauty of time flowing in architectural space.The spatial layout of the"central axis"changes the cultural concept of"respecting the middle"from"in space"to"in time".The author takes the former residence of Liu Qingxia in eastern Henan province as a case to discuss the time factor hidden in the central axis spatial layout.
