世纪之交得体修辞研究述评

A Commentary on Decency Rhetoric Research at the Turn of the Century

1996年,王希杰的《修辞学通论》一书第九章从不同角度对得体性原则作了卓有创见的论述,提出得体性是修辞学的最高原则的重要观点。此后,语言的得体性问题激起了学术界的强烈反响,成为修辞学界的一个讨论、争鸣热点,众多专家学者围绕《修辞学通论》中关于得体性的论述,进行解读、比较、延伸、深化、拓展、创新,推进了得体修辞学的研究,取得了丰硕的成果。文章对世纪之交的得体修辞学研究的状况,从得体性含义、最高原则以及层次性、文化性等问题进行了简要的梳理、评述。

In 1996,in chapter 9 of The General Theory of Rhetoric,Wang Xijie made the innovative discussion on decency principles from different angles,proposed an important opinion of that decency is the highest principle of rhetoric.After that,the problem of decency of language excited the strong response of the academic world,became a discussing and contending hot spot,many experts centered on the discussion of decency in The General Theory of Rhetoric,making explanation,comparison,extension,intensification,expansion and innovation,advancing the research of decency rhetoric,gaining the plentiful achievements.With the current state of decency rhetoric research at the turn of the century,this article makes a brief carding and commentary from the implication,the highest principle,level,culture and so on of decency.
