《中国妇女》月刊是中国共产党在抗日根据地创办的妇女刊物,是党宣传传播妇女观的重要媒介。作为抗战时期领导妇女工作的舆论阵地,《中国妇女》月刊在实践中采用木刻版画进行女性叙事,通过关键词赋予女性社会典范身份,多用场景、对话和细节描写进行贴近性报道,塑造了模范妇女干部、抗日女英雄和模范劳动妇女等三类典型人物,在动员和组织全国两万万众妇女参加抗日战争、民族解放运动发挥了重要作用。

A women’s journal founded by the Communist Party of China in the anti-Japanese base areas,The Women of China Monthly is an important medium for the Party to publicize and spread its views on women.As the public opinion front leading women’s work during the Anti-Japanese War,the journal used woodcut prints to narrate women in practice,endowing women with the status of social model through key words,and making close reports with scenes,dialogues and details,creating three types of typical characters,such as models of female leaders and working women as well as Anti-Japanese heroines.It played an important role in mobilizing and organizing the two-hundred-million women throughout the country to participate in China’s War of Resistance against Japan and the National Liberation Movement.
