As an important part of Shanghai’s implementation of the"45 km riverside connection"project on both sides of the Huangpu River, the public space regeneration project in the south section of Yangpu riverside is a demonstration practice of shaping"artificial field"in the context of post-industrialism.In this paper,we interpret the core contribution of the project as the overall framework of the urban waterfront landscape based on the multidimensional vision of landscape urbanism theory. On this foundation, the project integrates buildings, infrastructures, ecological landscapes and other material space elements. We further reveal that Yangpu Binjiang project provides three important paradigms for the practice of landscape urbanism of urban waterfront in the context of post-industry,in order to provide valuable reference for the construction of related fields.
