Marx's concept of praxis and his view of practice based on the concept undoubtedly have the very distinct theoretical characteristics.Marx's concept of praxis stays in the tradition of western thought,and it presupposes some common understandings of this concept from traditional philosophy.Therefore,only when Marx's concept of praxis is placed in the context of western philosophy can we more clearly detect the continuity as well as the originality of Marx's concept of praxis compared with that of western tradition.
