Automatic Target-Detecting Orchard Sprayer:Core Achievement of “High Efficiency Pesticide Application Technology and Research and Development of Equipment”Funded by National Key Technologies R&D Program of China During the Tenth and Eleventh Five-Year-Plan Period and China National High-Tech R&D Program(863 Progam)

The Automatic Target Detecting Orchard Sprayer is research achievement of the National Key Technologies R&D Program of China During the Tenth and Eleventh Five Year-Plan Period and China National High-Tech R&D Program(863 Program),undertaken by the Centre for Chemicals Application Technology(CCAT),China Agricultural University.Its working performance characteristics were tested by China National Center for Agricultural Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection.The research results were also checked,accepted and identifed by Ministry of Science and Technology in October 2003.It gained the first grade Science and Technology Progress Award,given by Ministry of Education of China,in 2006 and won the Second-Grade Excellent Prize Medal in“2010 Information and Moder Agriculture Exhibition of China”.The sprayer was also identified as a China National“Spark Program”Award Extension Product.
