戏曲翻译原则探析--以李正栓英译《宝莲灯》为例

中国戏曲是世界文化的重要组成部分,它历史悠久,剧种良多,对世界文化产生了深远的影响。《河北戏曲名剧选译》是第一部河北戏曲英译本。向世界推介河北戏曲名剧,这与“中华文化走出去”的大方针相契合,有利于河北戏曲和“燕赵文化”在海内外传播和发扬。从河北梆子《宝莲灯》的英译可以看出,戏曲作品的英译必须遵守忠实原则、通俗易懂原则和口语化原则。这些原则对戏曲英译实践具有重要的指导作用。

Traditional Chinese Opera plays a significant role in the world culture.It has a long history and there are many types of operas,which have had a profound impact in the world.Selected Translation of Famous Hebei Opera is the first English translation of Hebei Opera,which is in line with“Chinese Culture Going Global”policy and is conducive to the spread and development of Hebei Opera at home and abroad.Hebei Clapper Opera Lotus Lantern is selected to be analyzed from faithful equivalence,easy-to-understand principle,and colloquial principle in order to contribute to translation of Traditional Chinese Opera.
