Tracing the Origin of Several Pairs of Chinese Characters With the Same Components but Different Combination Positions

现代汉字中有很多构件相同而组合位置不同的成对汉字。随着词义的发展演变,大部分已看不出联系,但探究本义,大都可以找到它们音形义之间的某些关联。大致可以分为古为同一字、形体相对称音义相通、形体相关意义相通、音义相通、意义相通等几种情况。由于构字部件的有限性与字形的发展演变,也有一部分字只是字形上的偶合,主要包括造字偶合、演变偶合。

There are many pairs of Chinese characters with the same components but different combination positions in modern Chinese characters.With the development and evolution of word meaning,most of them can’t see the connection,but to explore the original meaning,most of them can find some connection between sound,form and meaning.It can be roughly divided into the same word in ancient times,the relative name of form,the interlinked sound and meaning,the interlinked form related meaning,the interlinked sound and meaning,the interlinked meaning and so on.Due to the limitation of the components of word formation and the development and evolution of glyph,some characters are only the coupling of glyph,mainly including the coupling of word formation and evolution.
