A narrow neck, plump body, and shrunken base paired with a curled handle—such was the design of a porcelain jar displayed in the exhibition entitled Tibetan Culture Fest—The Most Precious Relics in the Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall of the Mausoleum Museum of Emperor Qin Shihuang(China’s first emperor)in Shanxi Province, which ended up attracting the high attention of visitors. The jar, made with white glaze during the Ming dynasty’s Xuande period, bears Tibetan characters and a neck akin to the shape of a monk’s hat.
